Meditation
Among other things, meditation is the art of being present. Our minds become so cluttered
with thoughts and feelings, that the simple reality of each moment can escape us.
Learning meditation can help decrease anxiety as we confront dystonia. But it can also help in
every aspect of our lives. Mary Webster heads up the local Spokane Vipassana Meditation Community
(www.spokanevipassana.com), and she will introduce us to this gentle and non-judgemental
look inside ourselves. Family members and friends welcome
meeting on
Saturday, November 1st
1:30-3:00 p.m.
at
St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute
Board Room (Lower Level),
711 So. Cowley St., Spokane
